The ASC Laboratory is a sister entity of the ASC Clinic.
Indeed, PSG Lab QC Inc. was born in April 2024. Marie-Ève Normandin, inh., Stéphanie Bernier, inh and Luc Lantagne, inh joined forces to improve their diagnostic service offering.
The ASC Clinic has been offering PCRS sleep tests (or level 3) for about two years. The PCRS test is an adequate tool for many people. However, some patients with their specificities need a complete polysomnography test (PSG level 1). This is when you go to sleep in the laboratory. Rather than referring to public laboratories (with long waiting lists, up to 3 years) or private laboratories (which also have waiting lists, up to 6 months), we decided to open our own laboratory.
All tests are read by sleep pulmonologists. The scoring of the neurological component is done by an electrophysiology technician and the scoring of the respiratory component is done by the respiratory therapist.
We also offer the PSG level 2 service (unique in Quebec). The PSG level 2 test is the same as the laboratory test but in the comfort of your home.
