Adjusting humidity in winter
Share
The arrival of the winter period can cause a lot of problems for users of a CPAP device for sleep apnea. During this period, heating systems (electric, gas, wood) come into operation and have the general effect of drying out the air in homes. It is therefore important, during the winter period, to review the adjustment of your humidity level provided by the humidification system of your CPAP device. Generally, the level will be slightly adjusted upwards in cold weather and then be slightly lowered when spring temperatures return.
