As a certified respiratory therapist and member in good standing of the Professional Order of Respiratory Therapists of Quebec (OPIQ) for over 25 years, I am grateful to do what I do because of all the opportunities that have been given to me to help people and make a difference in the quality and longevity of their lives.
Over the years, I have worked in hospital and clinic environments, as well as for providers of healthcare equipment to hospitals and individuals.
I have gained experience carrying out various respiratory therapy responsibilities to provide high quality patient care, in allied settings such as intensive care, anesthesia and home care.
The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of the role of the respiratory therapist in managing the respiratory care needs of patients, both in terms of preventative advice to high-risk patients and care of those affected. due to illness, I decided to establish my private practice.
Make unique and valuable contributions to integrated patient care across the health care system by providing specialized clinical and technical expertise and services through direct patient care, such as diagnostic testing, education and support to the company and communities in which we operate.
Deciding to launch in 2020 seemed bold to me, but at the same time, today's technology allows me to offer personalized respiratory therapy services virtually and contactless.
